竹 actually visited 汐 in prison quite a bit but was running late when 汐 was let out.
汐 never mentioned to 大 that 竹 had been visiting him.
竹 turns up at their door with a beaten up cake (he spent all his money buying ingredients for it) to celebrate 汐 getting out.
汐 and 竹 split the cake.
- 竹 upset 大 didn’t want any.
- He immediately gets a stomachache and understands 大 apprehension.
- 汐 liked it and wants him to make a bigger one.
竹 informs them he’s been evicted.
大 decides it’s fine. He can stay.
竹 shows back up with Shigeko.
- 大 isn’t saying anything but he is looking at 汐 and 竹.
- He has to let her stay or 汐 is going to have a breakdown.
- 大 actually gets along well with her and they’ll sit quietly together.
- 大 is teaching her to draw and paint.
- He’s taught her to hate old maid.
汐 and 竹 are playing jankenpon to settle chore division.
- 大 isn’t taking part in this.
- 竹 only ever chooses scissors, so it’s really just 汐’s choice.
大 is going to set up a star award chart and they’ll get money for doing their damn chores.
- This is mostly a motivator for 竹.
品 comes round just to ask why 大 is putting up with this.
- He leaves with another hat.
  - They all have matching hats.
  - 品 should be happy ~~he got another hat~~ 汐 is distracted by 竹.
汐 is teaching them all to make hats.

汐: Takeshiba-san is a lot better at hats than card tricks.
汐 wants 竹 to get a cleaning job with him (since he needs the money.)
竹 gets a job with him but it turns into 竹 fucking everything up and 汐 having a great time.

Alt Route

汐 and 大 run into 竹 at the fayre where he’s been failing to entertain as a clown.
汐 grabs him and drags him onto the rides while 大 stands by with 汐’s jacket and bag.
Several hours of rollercoasters later, 竹 stumbles back on shaking legs, gets fired from his clown job, and mumbles about sending 大 a babysitting bill.
汐 offers to buy him dinner (just because he wants to hang out more)
竹 looking at his wallet and accepting it’ll do as long as he doesn’t have to go on more rides after.

汐: After dinner we can go on more rides!

竹： THEN WE MIGHT AS WELL NOT HAVE DINNER.

汐 manages to get 竹 onto the teacups with him but 大 still stays on the sidelines.
- He won’t explain why even when 竹 points out the teacup seats 5 people.
- 大 goes to the shooting range and wins a giant plush rabbit.
  
  大: Takeshiba-san is stealing my bride, A-san.
  - He tries to give it to 汐 but he says he isn’t the biggest rabbit fan so 大 can keep it.
