Yandere!盟 Ruining the Play

盟: Good news! That guy who was bothering you fell down the stairs!

冥: Wait, the set designer?

盟: Oh yeah, he was.

冥: WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THE SET?

盟: It’s not important. Mei-chan should just focus on the things that matter.

What MATTERS is his SET PIECE that wont be FINISHED because SOMEONE pushed the set designer down stairs
冥 begrudgingly goes to the hospital to talk to the set designer, but the guy is extremely freaked out.
- Definitely unrelated to 盟 coming in behind him.
- He is trying to end this conversation as fast as possible but 冥 asks how soon the doctors say he’ll be able to come back and he’s like shit I can’t risk being near 冥, 盟 will kill me. But when he makes his excuses, 冥 gets upset (because HIS FUCKING SHOW IS IN JEOPARDY) and now 盟 is glaring at him and shit nevermind he’ll be out soon (盟 still glaring at him) he has no idea when he’ll be out actually.
  - Mei-chan needs to be happy but if this guy gets too close, he’s going back to the hospital.
It’s fine 盟 will build the set!
- 盟 has fallen off a ladder and our male lead is now unable to perform.
  - 冥 has been saying he wanted to recast him but he’s making excuses why they can’t do that.
  - Stupid 盟 ruined his show and now 冥 can’t even try and work on it because he has to go visit him at the hospital!

盟: oh Mei-chan every time you visit me it gives me strength and hope… maybe if you feed me grapes i’ll be healed in time for opening night…

He gets home and it’s just “Mei-chan can you get me my mug” “Mei-chan can you feed me” “Mei-chan can I lean on you I forgot my crutch”

盟: I think if you kissed me on the forehead and called me niisan it would be really good for my recovery

Nevermind they can recast after all.
盟 miraculously recovers at the suggestion.
They manage to do the show but 冥 is too focused on 盟 the whole time, panicking that he wouldn’t have actually fully recovered.
- Obviously because him collapsing would ruin the show.
As soon as the show ends, 盟 collapses on him whining how everything hurts but at least it was worth it to make Mei-chan happy.

盟: Did you bring me flowers Mei-chan… no? it’s ok.. you’re the only flower I need Mei-chan…

盟: Mei-chan, you’ll help me home right? We could get dinner on the way. You don’t want to get dinner? You’d rather have it be just the two of us at home? aww

盟’s fans are lining up to talk to him but he’s too busy having a one-sided conversation with 冥 who is trying to get away from him.
Anyone asks him about his injuries and he says he’s fine, only to turn to 冥 and complain how much pain he’s in.
- His leg is too sore to walk on, he has no choice but to lean on 冥.
  - He wishes 冥 would princess carry him, but even he knows that’s impossible.
  - He’ll nuzzle into 冥’s hair as they walk.
    - It’s healing him! He’d never be unwell again if 冥 could always hold him like this.
  - Gets a little caught up thinking about 冥 as his personal nurse and 冥 is horrified when he notices the nosebleed wiping off on him.
    - He’s disgusted but also panicking that 盟 is dying.
    - He’s trying to get 盟 to the hospital but 盟 won’t shut up about his date ideas.
    - 冥 eventually snaps that they’ll only do that if 盟 gets through the rest of the damn show!
    - He’s instantly cured.
盟 spends the whole week planning their date.
On closing night, the rest of the cast drag him away for the cast party.
- He’s so pissed even though they’re toasting to his recovery and how well he did.
- And 冥 isn’t even there!!
冥 grumbling to himself. Of course 盟 went to party with his friends. Clearly all his talk about going out after the show was just talk. Whatever, he prefers not having to spend time with him!
- He’d turned down going to the crew party…
- He’d turned down quite a few offers…
  - But it was because he didn’t want to hang out with those people either, of course!
He’s woken at 3am by a drunk 盟 banging on his door and crying.
冥 isn’t opening it! If he wants to bother someone else with his drunk bullshit, that someone isn’t going to be 冥!
盟 curls up on his doorstep and falls asleep crying.
冥 finds him there in the morning and is stunned before rationalising it as he was simply too drunk to go anywhere more sensible.
He tries to step over him but ends up waking him.

盟: Mei-chaaaan our date!

冥: IT WASNT A DATE AND OBVIOUSLY IT WASN’T THAT IMPOSTANT SINCE YOU DIDN’T SHOW UP.

And did 盟 seriously then think he was going to go on a date with him, drunk, at 3am.
- If Mei-chan showed up drunk at 3am, 盟 would go anywhere with him.
They end up going for breakfast but 盟 has a horrible hangover and 冥 is angrily chainsmoking.
- 冥 is writing the crying off as a hangover symptom.
- At least 盟 can bask in the smoke being aggressively blown his direction.
  - He’ll keep this shirt to smell like 冥.
盟 is desperately trying to rearrange their date (Mei-chan you promised)
- Isn’t it better like this? Now they have a whole day for their date!
  - He’s genuinely heartbroken about missing their date.

冥: Whatever, I actually have work to do today.

冥: Are you going to sit there all day?

盟 excitedly accepts getting to leave with 冥 and (quietly) sit and watch him while he works as a date.
He’s using the time to try and find a way to insist they should kiss at the end of the night.
- When he does, 冥 will ultimately think he’s just making fun of him.
  - Just like their fakeout date.
  - Clearly he’s teasing 冥 for not having kissed anyone before but how could they when everyone he tries to interact with ends up in some sort of accident.
