Yandere!盟 Ruining the Play

Credits to El as cowriter for this.

Main CP
盟/冥
Cast

  • While 盟 is making 冥 rehearse with him, he gets so wrapped up in a scene that he kisses 冥.
    • There was no kiss in the script.
  • 冥 has a meltdown.
    • But then accepts that the kiss does fit really well into the scene and ends up adding it.
      • It’s just more narratively satisfying!
      • When 盟 brings it up, he storms out.
  • 盟 refuses to rehearse the knew scene until 冥 does a run through with him.
    • It’s so he can understand 冥’s vision.
    • The stage director is getting pissed about how often 盟 goes over their head to ask 冥.

Director: Shinbashi, you should maybe stop coming to observe rehearsals. It’s distracting for Mei

冥, seething: it’s not my fault if you can’t control your actors but fine I won’t waste my time!

盟 next rehearsal: WHERE’S MEI-CHAN?

  • 盟 insists they can’t start because 冥 isn’t there.
    • He’s perfectly fine rehearsing without the female lead though.
  • The director gives in and just lets him go and they’ll do a run through without him.
    • It’s better than listening to him whine about 冥 not being there.
  • 冥 hiding and grumbling.
    • He knew they all hated him.
    • He never should have wrote scripts for such ungrateful bastards.
  • Sitting at home chainsmoking and trying to write, only to cross them out immediately.
  • 盟 is at his door, ringing the doorbell over and over.
  • 冥 throwing things at the door until he runs out.
  • He’s considering setting all his drafts on fire.
  • Eventually the doorbell stops and he thinks 盟 gave up, but he just went round the back and climbed in the window.
  • He hugs 冥 from behind and 冥 thinks he’s being robbed and was accepting that as his bad luck.

盟: MEI-CHAN I THOUGHT YOU DIED!! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO CALL THE AMBULANCE!

  • This may be worse luck.
  • 冥 rarely answers the door to him and he knows this and could hear the things being thrown.
  • 冥 would be a little happy that someone missed him. Unfortunately, it’s 盟.
  • Rehearsal is going great without them. They might even recast 盟.
